Luleå University of Technology organizes virtual field trip for students
Due to Covid-19, the study trip within the Geometallurgy course offered by Luleå University of Technology planned in week 40 had to change the format. Now, a series of virtual and interactive field trips has been organized by LTU/Mineral Processing under the guiding topic “Geometallurgy in the Nordic Context (Sweden and Finland)”.
Several online talks will be given by experts from both industry and academia, thus providing the opportunity to virtually visit and explore Swedish and Finnish mining operations, mine projects, and research facilities.
Many thanks to all companies (Boliden, LKAB, Mawson, OrExplore, Talga, GTK) and speakers for their contribution and for sharing their experiences and expertise.
