All learning activities can be evaluated twice (except in certain cases duly specified in the course description, i.e. training session which can be only be evaluated once, and in Luleå where learning activities can be evaluated more than twice).

Teaching Activities: from the start of September to mid-December
Exam period (first session): first three weeks of January
Exam period (second session): end of June – July together with the second session of Nancy
Passing criteria: ≥10/20 for each course (20 being the highest mark)
Semister 2
Université de Lorraine – Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie de Nancy
Teaching Activities: from start of september to mid-December
Exam period (first session): after modules during the semester and at the end of the semester/ start of June
Passing criteria: overall average ≥ 10/20 and no mark ≤ 6/20 (20 being the highest mark)
Period to study for your second session of exams: 2 or 3 weeks in June
Exam period (second session): end of June – July together with the second session of Liège
Summer
In between Semester 2 and Semester 3: SUMMER BUSINESS SCHOOL
Teaching activity: August
Place: Freiberg
Content: basic courses in management (business model, marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Game etc.)
Semester 3
Luleå University of Technology
Teaching activities: end of August to mid-December.
Exam period (first and second session): after modules during the semester
Passing criteria: a mark of 3, 4, 5 (5 being the highest mark)
Holidays: mid-December to start of January
Semester 3
Technische Universitât Bergakademie Freiberg
Teaching activities: mid-October to mid-February
Exam period (first session): mid-February to first three weeks of March
Passing criteria: ≤ 4.0 for each course (1 being the highest mark)
Exam period (second session): during the fourth semester
Semester 4
One of the four Universities
Internship and master thesis research period: LTU from February until June. ULiège/UL/TUBAF from March to August.
Master thesis defenses: June (LTU) – August (ULiège/UL/TUBAF)
Passing criteria: ULiège and UL≥ 10/20 ; LTU ≥ 3 ; TUBAF ≤ 4
Graduation: end of August in Liège
